Today,
John wandered out from his fumigant-rich environment,
installing sheet-rock,
looking for a few scraps of construction wood.
He commented on the fragrant aromas,
wafting from the branches of
Jasmine and 2 species of Clematis.
After he left with a handful of short 2X4s,
I watched the bees.
They were back at work again,
just like last summer and fall,
doing their thing.
It was peaceful and comforting.
